Plugin hell
Every update risks breaking something else. Most stores run 15 to 25 plugins that quietly conflict, usually right when traffic spikes.
I migrate your store to Shopify while keeping your rankings intact and your data preserved.

If any of this sounds familiar, it's costing you.
Every update risks breaking something else. Most stores run 15 to 25 plugins that quietly conflict, usually right when traffic spikes.
Security patches, plugin updates, backups, server config. That's 5 to 20 hours a month spent keeping the lights on instead of growing.
Bloated code means slow load times, and slow pages lose sales. Checkout is where it hurts most.
Hosting, plugins, developer hours. It quietly adds up to hundreds or thousands a month you'd stop paying after moving.
Same store, none of the overhead.
Over 8,000 apps cover marketing, inventory, shipping, and more, and most are plug and play, not developer-dependent integrations that break on every update.
Shopify includes hosting, SSL certificates, and platform security updates, so patching, backups, and server config stop being your problem.
Migrating typically delivers a 10 to 20% checkout conversion lift via Shop Pay alone, on top of faster load times from a modern, managed platform.
Shopify handles SSL, PCI-DSS compliance, and DDoS protection automatically, replacing scattered hosting, plugin, and security costs with a single monthly fee.
A clear process, start to finish.
I map your current store, product data, customer records, order history, and URL structure, then build a migration plan tailored to your platform and catalog size.
Your store gets rebuilt in Shopify, matching or improving your current design, with your products, collections, and content structured properly from day one.
Products, customers, and order history move over. Every existing URL gets mapped to its Shopify equivalent with proper redirects, protecting your SEO rankings.
Everything is tested privately before going live. We schedule the cutover for a low-traffic window and monitor closely after launch to catch anything early.
I have worked with Kyle across many different clients and various industries. His primary area of expertise is Shopify, specifically managing complex migrations from other platforms. Beyond his strong UX/UI eye, he possesses impressive technical knowledge and CRO skills.
Kyle is a great communicator who doesn't ‘hide behind a screen’; I've brought him into client meetings on multiple occasions with total confidence. He strikes a rare, healthy balance between executing a client's vision and professionally pushing back when a suggestion might hurt their store's performance.
I worked with Kyle at Kandua in 2023, during the company's acquisition by Santam, and he was genuinely one of the best people on the team. As a UI/UX Developer, he brought real expertise, high-quality work, and a proactive, collaborative energy that made every project better. Always communicative, always reliable, I'd recommend Kyle without hesitation.

Migrations are a specific skill, not a byproduct of general Shopify work. Across my time at a European agency working with multimillion-dollar brands, and independently since, I've done this enough times, across WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, and others, to know where things typically break: redirect mapping, metafields, customer data, theme structure, and I plan for those before they become problems.
Running ecommerce and technology at Burnt gave me the other side of this, living inside Shopify Plus day to day, seeing exactly what a well-run store needs operationally. That perspective shapes how I build, not just to migrate you over, but to hand you a store that's actually easy to run afterward.
I work directly with you, no account managers, no handoffs. If something's going to hurt conversion or SEO, I'll tell you, and find a better way to get what you actually want.
This is the biggest fear in any migration, and it's a fair one. Every existing URL gets mapped to its Shopify equivalent with proper redirects, so search engines and existing backlinks find the right pages. I can't promise zero fluctuation, some is normal with any platform change, but with careful redirect mapping, most stores see rankings recover quickly and often improve over time.
Your new Shopify store is built and tested privately while your current site stays fully live. We only switch over once everything's confirmed working, and we schedule that cutover for a low-traffic window. There's always some brief window during a DNS switch, but it's measured in minutes, not hours, and I'm monitoring closely right after launch.
Products, customers, and order history all migrate. One thing that can't transfer for security reasons is customer passwords, Shopify doesn't allow it, so customers will need to reset theirs on first login. I'll help you plan a simple way to communicate that so it doesn't feel like friction.
Most migrations take 6 to 10 weeks from audit to launch, depending on catalog size and how many custom features your current store has. I'll give you a specific timeline once I understand your store.
Most migrations run $8,000 to $15,000, depending on your store's complexity and catalog size. We'll talk through your specific setup on the call, and I'll follow up with a clear proposal, no surprise fees.
I don't disappear after cutover. Launch week is when I'm watching closest, and I'm available to fix anything that comes up.
Tell me a bit about your store. I'll get back to you within a few hours, then we'll set up a call, no pitch, no pressure, just a conversation about what migrating would look like.
